How To Move FSMO roles

Open Active directory users and computers, right click on your domain and select “operation masters” Navigate to the PDC tab while connected to the DC you want to move the role to. Click the Change button

Open Active directory users and computers, right click on your domain and select “operation masters” Navigate to the RID tab while connected to the DC you want to move the role to. Click the Change button

Open Active directory users and computers, right click on your domain and select “operation masters” Navigate to the Infrastructure tab while connected to the DC you want to move the role to. Click the Change button

OPen Active Directory Domains and Trust tool right click on “Active Directory Domains And Trusts” while connected to the DC you want to move the role to, and Select “Operation Master”
Click Change.

Do all the following on the DC you want to be the new Schema master
To do this you must get to the AD Schema Admin snap in.
Run the command “Regsvr32 schmmgmt.dll”
Run MMC and add the Through Directory Active Schema Snap in.
Right click on “Active Directory Schema” And select “Operations master”
Click change
